My name is Stuart Vance, and I am excited to be a part of White Rock Academy. I have been involved with youth sports and helping young people enhance their educational and athletic goals for nearly 15 years as a varsity coach, camp counselor and administrator.
I am a native of Lawrence, Kansas and attended Lawrence High School, where I lettered three consecutive years in soccer. I have two years experience as the girl’s varsity basketball coach at Mankato High School (now Rock Hills), and have also worked as a summer league coach in basketball for both boys and girls. I served as both counselor and assistant director of the Vinland Soccer Camp and have worked at numerous other youth soccer camps during the past 15 years. In addition to my coaching experience, I have also served as a certified soccer official for youth soccer leagues. And, I played varsity soccer at Bethany College.
As you can see, I’ve had an extensive background and strong love for youth sports and activities. In addition to my love for athletic sports, I enjoy spending time with my family and serving in my community. I am also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing. I have resided in Mankato, Kansas for the past eight years while operating my own computer repair business. My wife, Nicki, and I have two sons, Kole (age 3) and Eli (five months). Nicki is a native of Jewell County and graduate of Mankato High School. She works as a physical therapy assistant at the Jewell County Regional Hospital.
I credit my intelligence and athletic skills to my father and my striking good looks and even temper to my dear mother. I am anxious to have the opportunity to serve your child and look forward to being a part of their growth and success here at White Rock Academy.
